As far back as I can recall, I complained when things took a little more time and elbow grease to accomplish. My notion was that if it was meant to be then the complexities would be minimal. How wrong was I?
With hindsight always being better, I glance back at all of the missed opportunities of advancement and prolonged dreams because I just couldn't get over my "easy-peasy" approach to everything. From relationships to career advancements, I've always wanted everything to be unchallenging. Now my outlook concerning this matter is a little different. But how did I get here? Well, life wouldn't bend for me. No matter how much I fussed like a toddler and cried like a baby, things that needed time to develop, developed over time and I just had to sit back and wait. When other things needed more tilling, I had to learn some new skills while cultivation took place.
Honestly speaking, I don't know how far I'd be along if I didn't grasp the concept of pursuing the easy as well as the hard. As the saying goes, "if it's worth having then it's worth working hard for."
If you're facing some difficult situations right now, sit with it before attempting to evade the experience of growing up. Look at the reality of the situation and access what you may need to do on your part to make it through it. Sometimes we need a little help, so don't be afraid to ask. I wish you well on your journeys and I hope that you wish me well on mines.
