Ah it’s Monday. Majority of the American population is hustling and bustling from the comfort their own homes while others are still required to report to work as usual. Whether you’re working remotely or on site, my prayers are with you and your family during this time.
I believe that this pandemic has caused a great deal of us to reflect on our lives and some of the decisions that we’ve made over the past year. A lot of us wish that we would’ve been more financially prudent. Others wish that they would’ve taken another job instead of staying where they’re comfortable. Wherever you are in your reflecting, know that your last chance to change something within your life, wasn’t your last chance. Don’t allow this time to slip by without you pursuing your dreams and stepping out on faith. If we can take anything away from this experience it’s that time is of the essence.
So lets pursue some of those dreams and reinvent the parts of us that need reinventing. And don’t forget to love on your family a little more.
Be be safe and be blessed.
Pray beyond your feelings. Often times when we pray we seek this glorious feeling instead of being intentional. Ask yourself what prayer really means to you. Is it a time for you to connect with God? Do you utilize it as a means of worship? What’s your purpose for praying?
When I first accepted Christ in my heart, I prayed to Him by saying, “Help me to pray as if I’ve never heard anyone pray before.” I wanted my time with him to be genuine and unscripted.
A sincere prayer will come from the heart. Don’t rely so much on your feelings because feeling are fleeting but your time spent with God is about faith. Faith goes beyond emotions. Sometimes we even have to completely push them out of the way.

I love it how when we squander an opportunity, we totally give up on ourselves. We push others on a daily basis with chants of “you can do it, try again”, but when it comes to providing ourselves with that same level of motivation, we become hardened and judgmental.
Whatever the opportunity was that you previously mishandled, was a learning lesson. You moving forward again towards achieving that goal will be the more knowledgeable and wiser you.
You take chances everyday on others, take a chance on yourself.
