Have you ever been in a place of wonder? Unsure of what tomorrow may have in store? Well I have. I've spent days at a time trying to figure out problems that don't yet exist and on situations that haven't occurred. Most would call it paranoia and rightfully so. We often waste time concentrating on the unforeseen out of fear of the unknown, but what would life be without a little suspense? Pretty dull I would suppose.
From the beginning of time we were instructed not to be eager in obtaining knowledge concerning everything. It sometimes seem as though Eve is still here egging our inquisitions on. People actually pay to have their death date predicted. Can you believe that? Why are we so focused on tomorrow before we've had the opportunity to concentrate on the present day? Is it due to our inability to trust the Creator with our fate or because we just expect the worse to happen? For many it's both. I can recall times in my personal life when I should've trusted God but chose to panic instead. In short, the situation didn't change until I changed my thinking and placed my trust in the hands of the One who could handle it. Things mostly always worked and what didn't seem to, later proved to have an another route. I've also been the victim of seeing the glass half empty and expecting the worse. I saw the negative first rarely focusing on an alternative outcome. It wasn't until I learned to handle things to the best of my ability as they came and release them, that I found peace. We can't control everything that happens in our life but we can control how we respond and how it affects us long term. There will be times where you will want to know the ending before the venture, and in those moments choose instead to just relax, trust, and breathe. Davina S.
