STAYING SUMMERY IN THE WINDY
I think we can all agree on the fact that Chicago can be a little bit unpredictable, weather wise, making things a tad difficult for the Windy City Fashionistas of the world. But what better way to stay ahead of climate change then by filling your wardrobe with fresh colors and nice accessories to keep that summer time look, even when it's brisk outside. This ensemble gives you color and freshness so whether there's a summer time breeze blowing or the sun is shinning bright, you still look great and feel great.
WHO SAYS YOU CAN'T BE CUTE WHILE WORKING OUT?
While some go to the gym desiring to attain a certain look, there are others who show up already prepared for the ball. Working out doesn't have to be this horrible hurdle that you have to make it over before arriving to glam city. It should be more so, naturally incorporated within your everyday life. Going to a fitness center doesn't have to be the time where you put on your oldest, most worn out active wear. You're already fabulous, now you're just simply enhancing it.
So the next time you visit the gym, go knowing that this is just apart of being the more healthier, more fabulous you.
BRIDEMAIDS WOES BUT GIRLY WARDROBE FUN APPROVED
Have fun this year trying out those beautiful summer time fashions at your next event! Weddings are so much fun during reception time, especially when everyone is complementing YOU on how great you look. I know, I know it's about the bride but why not take advantage of an opportunity to be glamorous? Most women only find themselves dressing up or simply wearing a dress at a wedding or banquet. But I encourage you to venture out! Maybe we'll see more dresses like this on a simple trip to the museum or on date night? You never know who you may inspire.
One thing that I loved about the character from SEX AND THE CITY, Carrie, was that she was absolutely fearless when it came to her wardrobe. We often express ourselves through hair and makeup but leave little room for expressive garment pieces. Remember, as you piece together your wardrobe, you're also piecing together an expression of you that you want the world to see.
