Day five was filled with smoothies and almonds. I didn't have much of an appetite on this day. After getting off work at five, I pretty much spent the day in bed until I decided to do a short 20- minute workout.
Although during the prior day, I spent some time questioning if I should finish the detox on day four, I'm glad that I bounced back. I had to take an honest look at what I was trying to accomplish. I have spent the past few years consuming whatever it is that I wanted so to expect immediate results and no kickback, was pretty unrealistic. Kudos to those who were able to complete seven-day detox's without any glitches. As for me, I had to push through despite how many different cravings I had. Sometimes it takes a little pain to have a little gain.
On to day six!
